Question

I need a human agent. Acrobat Premium appears on my Adobe account, but Manage plan does not let me cancel. It is not listed in my Google Play subscriptions. Please confirm who bills this plan, whether I was charged $69.99, and help me cancel it.

I may have started a 7-day free trial of Adobe Acrobat Premium while trying to fill out a PDF. My Adobe account shows “Acrobat Premium,” but “Manage plan” takes me back to the same page and I cannot find a cancel option. The subscription does not appear in Google Play. I have not been charged yet, but I am concerned about a possible $69.99 annual charge when the trial ends.

Please tell me where this subscription was purchased, whether a free trial is active, its end date, and exactly how to cancel it before any charge. I also need help reaching a support agent because I cannot complete the cancellation myself.

    Hi @Beauteous_finder6cc2,

Thank you for reaching out, and we understand the concern. No one wants to be caught off guard by a charge for a trial they weren't fully sure they started.

From what you've described, it sounds like a 7-day trial of Acrobat Premium may have started while you were filling out a PDF, and now "Manage plan" isn't giving you a way to cancel, while Google Play shows nothing for it.

Here's how this generally works: if a subscription was started directly through our website or in the Acrobat app on desktop, it's managed and billed through your Adobe account, under Plans and payment > Manage plan > Cancel your plan.

If you started it through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, please cancel it through that same store. Subscriptions are managed on the platform where they were originally purchased.

One more thing that can temporarily block cancellation: if a payment is actively processing, or there's an issue with the payment method on file, the cancel option won't go through until that clears, usually within 24 hours.

To help pin down exactly where this trial lives and get it canceled before any charge, could you confirm:

    1. The exact email/Adobe ID you see the trial listed under when signed in at https://adobe.ly/4xIV4m4

    2. Whether you started the trial on https://adobe.ly/4hwATln in a browser, inside a mobile app, or through a PDF tool embedded on another website

For reference: Cancel your Adobe subscription

Please share those details, and we'll take it from there.

    Thanks,
    ^BS
