I seem to have lost all historical files and am unable to search files on the mobile / iPad in the application. Files are in cloud storage and accessible via desktop but are not syncing with iPad. This issue has only started in the last few days.

Since your files are confirmed present in cloud storage and working fine on the desktop, this isn't data loss; it's the iPad app failing to sync and index what's already safely stored elsewhere.

A few things would help confirm the fix: what's your exact Acrobat app version on the iPad (Settings or About screen), and what iPadOS version are you running? Did anything change right before this started a few days ago, an app update, an iPadOS update, or nothing you're aware of?

Worth trying, in this order:

1. Check the App Store for a pending Acrobat update

2. Sign out of the app completely on the iPad, then sign back in with the exact same email used on desktop

3. Try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data when opening the app, to rule out a network-specific sync issue

4. If none of that helps, go to Settings > General > iPad Storage, find Acrobat, and tap Offload App, this clears the app's local cache and sync state without touching your cloud-stored files, then reinstall from the App Store and sign back in

Let us know your app version and iPadOS version, and whether signing out and back in resolves the sync.
