Adobe acrobat app in dropbox account not linked

Hi there

If your Adobe Acrobat Mobile app and Dropbox account are failing to link it usually stems from an API timeout, outdated app caches, or device limits. Follow the step below and see if that works:

1. Check Device Limits

Dropbox restricts the number of active linked devices on free accounts.

Go to Dropbox on a web browser
Click your profile picture and select Settings > Security
Under the Devices section, unlink any older or unused phones/tablets to free up a slot

2. Clear App Authorization and Cache: Sometimes the connection token becomes corrupt.

Go to Dropbox Integrations to manage your third-party apps and revoke Adobe's access so you can start fresh.
Open your mobile settings > Apps > Adobe Acrobat > Storage > Clear Cache

3. Ensure both your Adobe Acrobat and Dropbox mobile apps are updated to the latest versions in your device's app store to prevent compatibility errors.
