Inter Linkable Pdf files on Ipad

Hi

I need to create multiple inter linkable pdf files. I got it work on the local system but I need it to work on the Ipad.

I know the option of Add/edit web/document link and 'Open a file' but that works only in the local system. If i transfer the files to an Ipad it doesn't work. Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
