IOS Acrobat Reader DC - opening certificate encrypted pdf?

Question

Hi,I would like to secure a PDF file in such a way that it can only be opened on one specific IPAD. If I create a Digital Identity in Acrobat Pro on a PC, and encrypt a doc with that certificate - what is the process to transfer the identity to the ipad such that I can open that document?I have attempted to 'export' the cert from the PC, after importing it on the ipad I still can not open the PDF.What is the normal process for IOS (ipad) Adobe Reader to open PKI-encrypted documents?Thank you very much,

Hi Rocket,Sorry for the delay in response.It is not possible to secure a PDF that it opens on a particular PDF.If you encrypt the document with a certificate, it will not work on a mobile application.The Adobe Acrobat Reader for mobile does not support the digital certificates feature.However, you can password protect the PDF and then can open on the iPad device.Hope that answers your query.Let us know if you have any questions.Regards,Meenakshi
