I am currently having this same issue. Only happens when I am combining files. The files I am combining are already pdf, so that's not the problem. App keeps shutting down when I re open. Until it either says that my files could not be combined or there is a spinning circle that never stops.

@Dean25195009o7qc Hi,

I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for your experience.

Could you please let me know a few details:

1. The application version of Acrobat Reader Mobile;

2. The operating system you are using and its version;

3. A screen recording of the happening situation for better understanding.

Also, are the files you are trying to combine on your phone's local storage or the cloud drive? If on the cloud, can you try copying them to the local storage and try again I tried combining the files at my end, and it worked fine.

You may also want to update the application to the latest version.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks,

Souvik.

Hi

Hope you are doing well,

Sorry for such experience. Could you help me with few details to understand your issue better:

  1.  Application version?
  2. Make and model of device?
  3.  Mobile internal storage?
  4. Are you trying to open an attachment? If yes, what is the source and size of attachment?

Try to clear cache of the application. Update the application. Sign out and sign in back.

Also, send crash reports to Adobe
Acrobat sends crash reports to Adobe in case the app closes unexpectedly. By default, the app automatically sends a crash report each time it encounters a crash. To change this default setting:

  1. Tap profileicon > Preferences.
  2. Tap Send Crash Reports. The option Always is the default selection.
  3. Select Ask every time if you want the app to prompt you to send a crash report to Adobe. Or select Never to stop sending crash reports.

For more help refer to: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobat/ios/en/settings.html#send-crash-reports-to-adobe

Let us know if that helps.

Regards

Ria
