iPad: Can I Edit Locations?

I would like to remove some 'Locations' on the 'Files' menu.
There are some Locations I don't use.
Should that be possible?
I tap the 'Edit' icon at the top right. Doesn't seem to perform any action.

Thanks for any help or advice.

I would like to do the same. This is super annoying. I want my iCloud to be top of the list, it is not even on the list. I do not use any of the other drive locations.

Is there a way to at least add iCloud and move it to the top of locations? THank you

@Jane35931285ccqx,

You can use the following steps to achieve the workflow:

You can use the Share option-> Share a copy-> scroll down to select "save to files"-> Click on Browse on the file selector-> Select iCloud-> save the file.

Hope this helps.

Hi @randyw57,

Hope you are doing well. You want to remove a few drives from the location menu per the description.

By clicking the edit option, you will be able to remove any external drive links that you have added to Acrobat Reader Mobile (like Google Drive, OneDrive or DropBox) but if you are trying to remove the options like "On this device, From Photos" those are not available for individual users.

This is achievable if you use an organisation-provided Acrobat account where the IT admin has disabled accessing files from internal storage.

If the latter applies to you, you can learn how to disable the options here: Introduction — Acrobat Mobile App Deployment.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Souvik!

1. Yes, I am trying to remove Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox from my Locations. I don't use those services.
2. Below is a screenshot of my current Files page.
3. For me the underlying problem seems to be when I tap on 'Edit' nothing happens. The page just remains as it was originally with no options to make any changes.

@randyw57 Thank you for sharing the screenshot.

You have not added any account to the application, as shown in the above screenshot.

Since you do not have them added, the edit option does nothing. To completely remove the options, you will need an enterprise license where the admin can disable access to them permanently.

Also, you will not need to worry about any cloud backups unless you add them to the applications.

Hope this clarifies your statement.
