iPad Pro crashes when using Acrobat

My iPad Pro crashes every time I open a document in Acrobat. Once it crashes, the iPad Pro must be connected to a power source, or else it will not boot up. I would delete and reinstall; but I do not want to lose my saved documents. Any ideas on how to fix?

hi BeckleyLawyer,

Thank you for reporting the issue. We're sorry about your experience and for any inconvenience. You are correct. If you delete Acrobat without backup and you would lose your documents that saved on your device.

To understand your circumstance, would you mind letting us know the followings,

1. Could you please try to restart/reboot your iPad Pro to see if the problem persists?

If the issue is still there,

2. What is the iOS version and what version of Acrobat you are using on your iPad Pro?

3. Where did the document open in Acrobat? From Document Cloud/Dropbox/GoogleDrive/OneDrive?

4. Does it crash on other documents? If it is specific to a document, would you mind share it with us privately for our investigation? Additionally If you could share a screen recording or video of the issue, it'd be helpful.

Thank you for your patience,

These did not really work. I had restarted my iPad many times over the past year without success (it's my usual "go to" solution). However, Apple came out with a new version of its IOS, and the problem no longer seems to exist since installation. That version came out about the time the suggestions were received.

hi BeckleyLawyer,

I'm glad that it works now after updating to latest iOS version.
