I am trying to make a PDF but when I send the file, the person receiving it only gets a link to the file, not the actual file. Is there a way to make and send just the file?

Hi, 

 

Are you sending it via email as an attachment?

 

Otherwise the mobile app will send a shared link to the user to download the PDF directly  from the document cloud.

I took pictures of 2 documents, and sent them, only to have the receiver (not tech savvy) not understand how to open the document. I looked and it was a link, not the actual PDF. Trying to keep the KISS principle in play.

Has the user confirmed if they can actually click on the link and while trying to click on it nothing happens?
