Question

Is there a way to increase the font using Acrobat Reader on a iPad mini?

I read PDFs on an iPad mini which is quite small. I can increase the size of whole document by sliding my thumb and forefinger apart, but that increases the whole document and slides the text outside the screen. Is there some way to increase the font so that all text stays within the margins of my iPad mini?

Hi @danh63654899

Hope you are doing well.

As per the issue description that you want to zoom the text but it should not exceed the margins. There is an option that Reader offers which is Liquid Mode. You can use this feature for better readability.

Kindly do through the help article to know how to use the Liquid mode: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobat/ios/en/lmode.html?#liquid-mode

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harsh

Thank you, but when I attempt to activate Liquid Mode I get a message, "Liquid Mode isn't yet available for files over 200 pages." My document is too long to use Liquid Mode.

Hi @danh63654899

Sorry for the delayed response. Most files are compatible, but the following limitations may apply:

  1. More than 200 pages
  2. More than 10 MB in size
  3. Scanned
  4. Converted from presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, etc.)
  5. Encrypted or password protected
  6. Complex layouts (eg. tickets, statements, invoices, receipts, etc.). Please view the following PDFs in their original layout for the best experience:
    • Documents containing mostly tables and charts (e.g. spreadsheets)

    • Documents containing mostly images (e.g. illustrations, CAD drawings)

    • Forms

    • Non-standard page sizes such as posters and business cards

For more details, refer to the URL: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobat/android/en/lmode.html

Thanks,

Harsh

Wrong forum, so I moved this thread into the Acrobat Reader Mobile forum.
