Question

Issue: Automatic quotation marks formed when I copy text in Excel then paste in Adobe Acrobat form. How do I turn this feature off? Using: iPad and Logitech keyboard.

Copy and paste from safari does not form quotation marks.

What are you pasting the text info? A text field or as standard text?

What is the Excel field formatted as?

I’m not seeing this problem when I c&p from Excel.

Also, platforms and versions of the software would be helpful.

Copy an entire cell in Excel then pasting into a text field in Adobe Acrobat.

    Excel version 2.105.26013021

    Adobe version 26.01.11 (20260130.132402)

I tested it on both Mac and Windows without issue.

You didn’t answer all the questions:

What is the Excel field formatted as?

    What OS and OS version?

Where in the text field are you pasting the text (name, tip, options, calculations, etc)?

Try copying from the formula bar and not directly from the field.
