Issue with Acrobat Reader after update

I updated my reader on my android tablet today and have run into a couple issues and was looking to see if someone had a solution. When trying to add text to a page, when I try to move it, it slides all the way to far right of the screen and won't move away from there... also when I attempt to highlight it moves to the next page instead of.actually highlighting.

Please any and all help much appreciated as this is my main note taking program for school
