Issues with the latest IOS version - Location and Rotation

I just updated to the latest version on my Ipad Air 2.  

two huge things stand out.

1) i can't make the Locations pane (on the left) go away while i'm browsing the files on the ipad.  

the old verions didn't have this option, the only place i'd view files from is on the ipad so i don't need or want this Locations pane at all.  

 

2) viewing documents is now locked into landscape mode, even if i rotate the orientation of the ipad.  the ipad's rotation lock is off and all other applications rotate just fine.  i cannot view documents in acrobat in portrait mode.  

  

how can i fix these?

Sorry for the delayed response. Could you please confirm if you are still facing the issue? Try updating your application to latest iOS version 21.10.00.
