@scott_0851 Deleting JPEG files from within Adobe Acrobat Reader Mobile is a bit different than deleting PDF files, because Acrobat Reader's primary function is to handle PDFs. While it can open and view JPGs, its file management features are mainly designed for PDF documents. To delete a JPG file, you typically need to manage the file from your device's native file system, not directly from within the Acrobat Reader app itself. On my Google Pixel 8, Go to your phone or tablet's file manager app. This might be called "Files." Navigate to the folder where the JPG file is actually stored. This is often the "Downloads" or "Images" or "Pictures" folder. Select the JPG file you want to delete. Use the delete or trash can icon to remove it. After you've deleted the file from your device, it may still appear in the "Recent" list in Acrobat Reader. To remove it from this list, go to the Home screen of the Acrobat Reader app. Find the JPG file in the "Recent" list. Tap the three-dot menu next to the file name. Select "Remove from Recent" (or a similar option).
You can delete files from your Acrobat Reader's recent list only if they are available at the location from which you opened them.
If there are any modifications or movements made to the file, the app would throw an error.
The files can be checked for by looking at the location icon below the file name..
Note: Using the delete option can permanently remove the file from the source location, so beware when using this option, as the files might not be recoverable from our side.
