Lag when highlighting text

Everytime I try to highlight text, there is a 2-3 second delay and everything seems to be frozen during that time. This didn't happen when the previous version of adobe was available where the colours of highlighter was much more limited. I am using Samsung M31. Is there a fix for this problem?

Having the same issue... Trying to read large medical textbooks and highlight as I go, but this has made it impossible. I've tried lots of different things and uninstalling/reinstalling acrobat worked for about 12 hrs. I'll let you know if I find anything that works more permanently.

Due to see this issue only with large files? Would you mind sharing a file with us to test in-house? 

This will help us get the fix for the issue quicker.

    Sorry, I just realized this was the Mobile App discussion. My issue is actually in the desktop app.
