Latest update of Adobe Acrobat Reader: Edit PDF - Functional Regression

Question

Lost Text Copy capability. Generally, lost Text Select capability. The “PDF reader - simple viewer” app, however, continues to support Text Select.

Hi @Larry26601574cojt The feature is still available. You may need to long press the word (2-3 sec) and it should highlight the word you want to select or copy depending upon the requirement.

Hi @Larry26601574cojt,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

Would you mind sharing the workflow you are following?

I tried reproducing the issue on my end, but everything worked fine.

Can you try the following steps and let me know if it works:

Open the PDF you need-> Select the pencil icon on the bottom right-> Select the option Edit PDF-> Now select the part where you want to choose the text -> Once the text box appears, long press the word, and it should capture.

Hope this helps.

-Souvik.
