Latest versions bugs in modifying pdfs

Device: Samsung Tablet S11

Android Version: 16

Adobe Version: 26.9.1.49937

Good morning everyone. In these past two months (August and September 2026) I have encountered lots of problems using Adobe Acrobat Reader to study on my academic pdfs:

  1. The app wasn’t working when I tried to modify a pdf file of 80 Mb. It was really annoying: everytime I tried to highlight something, the app suddenly stopped working and I had to shut it down and re-open it every time. I didn’t encounter the same problem with files smaller than 80 Mb (and actually in the past it worked well with files bigger than 250 Mb).
  2. The main problem: when I want to write or modify a text note I made, I can’t - the app stops me from doing it and when I try to select it again, nothing happens until I close the window and open the file again (but still the same situation occurs).
  3. In the past, when I wanted to write or modify a text note/comment, it appeared just above the display keyboard; now, it appears on the side hiding the keyboard, so that it is now very difficult to modify something.
  4. Depending on the file (I don’t know why), when I use the “enter” key, sometimes it closes the note (saving it) and sometimes it just starts a new line (THIS is what I actually need). How can I fix this?
  5. Every 2-3 updates, still the app has problems saving the files in the cloud (it seems like it is not saving the changes because the weight in Mb stays the same even if they are there when I open the file again)

I know they are a lot of problems but I am quite tired of deleting the app and downloading an older version accessing it again until it updates itself (and then again). What should I do? Thank you very much in advance.
