Lost all my local files after upgrade of iPad!!

After upgrading Adobe Reader this morning the app is just hanging and showing a blue wheel spinning. I had a lot of local files on this iPad that now are missing.

Is there any error correction coming soon to this problem?

I had to reinstall and lost years of work!! you guys are awesome enough to delete user data on app uninstall, another scam to woo users to sign up for cloud. I am never using adobe products again!

Hi Peter,

Sorry for the trouble caused.

As the application is hanging, try once to sign out of the application and reboot the device.

Then relaunch the application and check if it works fine after that.

To view the local files on the device after the update, refer to the steps mentioned below:

- Launch the Adobe Acrobat Reader application on the device.

- Click on "Files" at the bottom.

- Then at the top left, you will find an option "Locations". Click on that.

- Select "On this iPad" option to open the local files.

Check if you can find the documents there.

Please update us, if you still experience any issue

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hello,

I rebooted the device but that didnt help. But after 30 min of blue wheel spinning, finally the app was up and running again and I can see all of my local files. I wonder IF there is some kind of transformation of the pdf-file database going on just efter the app is upgraded.

regards,

/Peter

I had the same problem and even after hours of blue wheel spin I didn't get any files so I reinstalled now all files gone. Any solution ?
