Lost files

After an iOS update the adobe reader app was deleted from my ipad. I reinstalled the app but my files were gone. I did an iCloud back up but still couldn't get my files back. Is there any way that I can get my saved files back?

I hope you're doing great.

 

As discussed above, you want to retrieve the deleted files from Acrobat Reader mobile application.

 

If the files were saved within the application, they are uploaded to Document Cloud by default. 

To check your document cloud: Adobe Document Cloud.  

 

Note: Try to sign in to Adobe Acrobat Reader with the same Adobe account on which you had data.  

If you're not uploading the files to Adobe Document Cloud or saving them to any other location, the files will be deleted permanently. Removing the files once deleted directly from the application is impossible. 

 

I suggest you permanently save a copy of the file to some other location or upload the files to Document Cloud. 

 Also, Make sure you're logging in on iCloud with the same ID on which you saved the files.
