MISSING DOCUMENTS IN LOCAL APP

I just noticed several documents I had renamed last year & previous year are missing in local (they weren't stored or saved anywhere else).  I didn't accidentally delete them (I would have recalled doing that as it requires a couple of steps to delete documents & each document has to be deleted individually).  I don’t have paid subscription (only free version).  How  could that have happened and how can I find them.

Thanks for the feedback.  I greatly appreciate it.  I found additional pdf documents under the "On This Device" header in Adobe app.

In addition, I had not uninstalled and reinstalled the app as I'm aware that action would cause files in local storage to be removed.

Hi @4ANGELS,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

As per your description, it does not look like an issue with Acrobat.

The app does not automatically delete files from your device unless you do so manually (as you already mentioned, not doing so).

Also, in case you might have saved the files on the cloud, you can log in to https://adobe.ly/45t0Xt3 to see if the files are available there.

Another aspect is that if you cannot see the file names on the Recent files list, it does not necessarily mean that the files have been deleted.

You can go to your device's Files app and check the document section to see if the files are available there. If they are, you can open them from there, and the names would show up on the recent list again.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Souvik.
