My printer is saying it's not ready yet to print and it won't print what can I do what am I missing

My printer is saying it's not ready to print yet and it won't print usually the little printer will come up in the corner and I can hit that but that's not even coming up what am I missing does anybody know thank you

    Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the workflow or the steps you follow for a better understanding and assistance?
