How much time it takes to combine 2 files of 20 MB each in Acrobat Premium? I am trying to merge the 2 pdf files but only shows uploading for half an hour. This has happened in past too. Never been able to combines these 15-20 MB size files. I am  using premium version if Acrobat in Samsung S26 Ultra. One UI 9 and Android 17. Acrobat latest update installed on 08 Oct 2026.

    1) Acrobat Version installed is 28.8.0

2)The 2 pdfs are stored in my device memory and not share or protected.

3)Tried with both WiFi 50mbps speed and mobile data with 200mbps speed. It stocks all the time big pdfs. Always able to merge small pdfs of 2-3 mb.

    4) Signed with same account which has the subscription.

    Hi @kamlesh_kumar

Thanks for sharing the details. How ever, we would also need a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs along with the sample PDF files so we can get this issue checked further.

    Hi @kamlesh_kumar

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for the clear details about your device and the app update. I’m sorry for the trouble. I understand how frustrating it is to wait half an hour on “uploading” when you only need to merge two PDFs.

To combine files in Acrobat on mobile, you need an active subscription, you must be signed in to Adobe Cloud storage, and you need an active internet connection. Files that are shared for review cannot be combined. You can find the details here: https://adobe.ly/4zsnDFL

To help us look into this, could you please share:

    1. The Acrobat app version is installed on your phone.

    2. Where the two PDFs are stored (on your phone, Google Drive, another cloud storage or Adobe cloud storage), and whether either file is shared for review or protected with a password.

    3. Whether you are on Wi-Fi or mobile data, and whether the upload also stays stuck when you try smaller PDFs.

    4. Whether you are signed in to the same Adobe account that has the subscription.

Once we have these details, we can share the next steps with you.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,
    Amal
