Not saving changes to original file. Making multiple copies in different folder

Pdf getting auto saved to download folder as a copy. Changes are not getting reflected in original file location to original file.Device - OnePlus Pad Tablet

Hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing in!

We tried the workflow in-house, which is designed behavior for the same reason you mentioned.

The issue is not reproducible on Samsung devices, as the file manager allows the editing of files.

Have you tried opening the same file directly from Reader Mobile and making changes instead of using the Files app?
