Hi @Elliott36858042hp6k,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

Would you mind briefing us more on the workflow you are trying to achieve for a better understanding?

If you are referring to the file name appearing on the Recent List, you can remove them by clicking the three dots to the right of the file name-> click "Remove from recent."

More info here: Manage files and folders — Acrobat for Android Help (https://adobe.ly/3w6MPX2)

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I get an email with a pdf attachment, or I retrieve a web page with a link to a pdf. I click on the attachment or link to view the document. It opens in Acrobat and automatically saves the file even if I only wish to view it. I know how to remove or delete the file, but I do not want it saved by default in the first place. I want to choose to save only files I wish to keep.

@Elliott36858042hp6k If this is the case, this is your device's OS behavior, not Acrobat.

Acrobat does not save or modify any PDF files unless manually done so.
