open files

Question

When I try and open a PDF file from an email it takes me to a subscription page for Adobe and doesn't give me an option to just view it without paying.  I'm not trying to edit I just want to view it.

@dave_5105 @beautiful_Haven6102 If either of you touch any of the tools in the bottom bar or top menu that is labeled with a pen, scissors, or "Edit" icon, a pop-up will open and then immediately ask for a subscription. Instead, just use basic viewing gestures (swiping, pinching) to avoid the paying pop-up to subscribe.

I will admit I sometimes, accidentally tap the "Edit PDF" or "Organize Pages" tool instead of just navigating the document, the app will redirect me to the subscription page because editing requires Acrobat Pro.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Do you have the Acrobat Reader (Freeware) app installed on your system? If yes, please try downloading the PDF file locally to your device, then opening it using the Acrobat Reader application and check.

Also, make sure the app is updated to the latest version via App/Play Store and reboot the device once and check.
