Asking for password how do I reset or set password? Can't get into account

If it is a password for the PDF file, if you don't know the password and get it from whoever supplied the PDF file, you are pretty much out of luck.

 

If the question is about the password for your AdobeID, you must go the Adobe's website and attempt login with your AdobeID and when you get to the point where you must enter a password, choose the option associated with resetting the password.
