PDF Edits/Fill & Sign not saving on Acrobat Pro IOS

Hi, I've created pdf forms for years for field staff to edit out in the field with dropdowns, free text, time fields and checkboxes. I was always able to download a template from ondrive, open in Acrobat, edit and reupload into onedrive. Since March this year, anything I try and edit on the mobile (iPhone 12, Acrobat Pro) doesn't save. I can fill in the form and as soon as I exit the form, it is wiped. If I have it open & completed and send it to onedrive, it just sends a blank copy of the form. I've tried different forms and have sent to other platforms but it still doesn't retain the added text etc. I have the same setup on my iPad and it works fine, though some other staff have reported that it isn't working on their iPads or phones. Still works fine on PC.

Can someone please answer why this might be happening and possible solutions.

Hi there,

Hope you're doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We're sorry for the trouble you're experiencing.

Could you please let us know what exactly happens when users try to save the PDF to OneDrive? Do they see any error message? If yes, please share a screenshot so we can better understand the issue.

Also, please share the version of the Acrobat app and the operating system the users are using. You can find this by tapping the profile icon > About Acrobat.

In the meantime, make sure the Acrobat app is updated to the latest version from the App Store, and try restarting the device.

Hi Amal,

 

Thanks for responding. I have no problem uploading to OneDrive (no errors). I can upload the documents, it just saves a blank copy (wipes any data I've added). Same issue with clicking the home button in the acrobat app to go back to recent documents, this wipes the document as well.

Iphone app version is current and I've tried reinstalling and restarting and it still hasn't solved the issue: 25.06.05 (20250704.133639)

Ipad version was 24.02.02 (20240307.111530) and have just updated to 25.06.05 (20250704.133639) - still seems to be working fine.
