Question

PDF file sending...

I Sent "a copy" of a PDF file, sent it to myself using a totally different email address than the one I registered my Adobe Acrobat account to test the accuracy.

Email was received, but was a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FILE WITH THE SAME EXACT FILE NUMBER OF THE ONE I MEANT TO SEND.

THIS IS EXTREMELY CONCERNING!

Because the email that was randomly chosen to be sent (that I DID NOT intend to send) was extremely private information,!

I'M TEMPTED TO CANCEL THIS WHOLE APP BECAUSE I CANT EVEN OPEN THE PDF TO DOUBLE CHECK IT JUST BEFORE I HIT "SEND", FROM MY EMAIL. 😔

I even did it again incase I did something wrong (although I was sure I didn't), same outcome!

Hi @Mike23097246tbdh

As we have tested the same workflow to reproduce the issue but it was working fine. Could you confirm a few more details to understand the issue better?

1. Did you check with some other PDF too?

2. Application version?

3. OS name and version?

Make sure that the app is updated to the latest version.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks,

Harsh

My Adobe Acrobat from my Android smart phone is up to date. Purchased from google play store...

Not sure what "OS name or version"  means...

I also sent a different pdf to a completely different email as stated in my initial message, but I didn't specify that I tried a completely different PDF, I did, and it sent the same file I did not select to send!

It's the weirdest thing!

The one I chose to send had an identity number such as 1_490.....

And a bunch of numbers after the 490.

Whereas the file that it kept sending by default had and identification number of "0."

That was it.

I'm not sure if that helps but again this is very concerning...
