PDF on iPad Pro

Hi all,

I have an iPad Pro 4th generation and Acrobat version 21.05.00.

I'm in France.

I can't manage to open some PDF (editable PDF from websites mainly). It says "this PDF needs Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for mac or Windows". I thought I downloaded this specific Acrobat.

 

Could you tell me what to do?

Hi Valérie

 

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to open some PDF forms from website and getting the error 'this PDF needs Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for mac or Windows'

 

Some PDF forms (Dynamic XFA Forms having XML Architecture) are not compatible with Acrobat Reader Mobile application and need to be opened with Acrobat Reader DC application on Windows or Mac machine.

 

Acrobat Reader mobile is the mobile application for android and iOS devices. on the other hand Acrobat Reader DC is a computer application for Windows or Mac OS devices.
