I have problem with adobe acrobat pdf reader. I am a student so I highlight and add text as notes in pdf. For that I first saved all the PDFs into a folder 'Study' inside the download folder and I open it using Adobe then for saving it I star the pdf. Problem is that from the starred section of adobe When I chose a pdf for editing, it saved as another copy into download folder outer the 'Study' folder. Also those changes made in this pdf is also not available in the pdf in the study folder but saved into this duplicate/copy. But even if we move this pdf into 'Study' folder then the pdf got corrupted. I have very exhausted with this. Iam facing this issue seriously as a student.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

I tried to reproduce the issue at my end but couldn't replicate it. we'd love to take a closer look. Could you let us know:

  • Which device and OS you’re using (e.g., Android, iOS)?

  • Which version of Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile you have installed? Tap on the profile icon > About Acrobat  and try updating the app from the App/Play Store and reboot the device once and check.

  • Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Are your files stored locally or are you using any cloud storage integration?

  • A small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue occurring would be very helpful for more clarity and understanding.

We are here for help, just need more info.
