Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.
Just to check, can you try logging in to the Cloud Portal and check if the subscription works for you there?
If not, you might want to check the email address through which you are logging in to the account as Apple has two different login methods, the first being your own email address while the second is the masked email address that Apple creates for you.
This could be the primary reason for the issue.
