Problems Editing

At the time of selecting the Edit Tool, it only mark the whole text and gives only the option to delete it, not to edit, I  need to edit only one portion but that is impossible. I used to me able to modify any section but lately I have this issue

I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

 

I tried to reproduce the same at my end, and it worked. Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the workflow you are using?

Also, is it with a specific or all the files you are working with?

 

Once you go to Edit PDF mode, you need to single-click on the chunk of text you want to edit, and the options should come up.
