Read the text as audio media player play does not work

I am listening a book with the option of reading the text but when is reading and I want to pause with the button of play and story of a Bluetooth device does not pause or play either

We tried replicating the issue, and it is working fine on our end.

Could you please check to do the same with other applications and see if it's working fine there?

Also, make sure that the application and device are updated.
