Reader says files are corrupted when trying to open documents

So i'm a paid book blogger and adobe is what i typically use when reading the books I have for review. Lately though anytime i time to upload a document it keeps saying that the file is corrupt and won't open. At first i thought it was the book files but after others had no issue with opening and reading it on the review sites end - I feel like there's something going on. I have already deleted and redownloaded the app but still doesn't help.

To where are you uploading the documents? What web site is complaining they are corrupt? What Adobe app is involved in this uploading? (Or are you using "uploading", as the other response suggests, as if it means "open")?

Sorry to hear that.

 

As you have mentioned, you get the error message when trying to open the document in the Adobe Acrobat Reader application.

Could you please confirm if you get that error message only when you open the book files? Did you try opening any other PDFs that either saved locally or on document cloud? Do you get the same error message when you open other PDFs?

What is the application and OS version installed on the device?

I'm also getting the same error when trying to open various PDF files. This PDF is a two page document I received via email. 

 

I can open the document without issue in other PDF readers like Kindle app, and Google Drive app. 

 

Could you please confirm if you get that error message only when you open the book files?

Two page document, not a book.

 

Did you try opening any other PDFs that either saved locally or on document cloud?

The document was saved locally. 

 

Do you get the same error message when you open other PDFs?

Only occasionally. 

 

What is the application and OS version installed on the device?

Android 11

Acrobat app version 20.9.0.15841
