Hello Michaelt,

As per the description above, you want to rename a PDF file on your iOS device, is that correct?

Please refer to the following KB doc which discusses how to manage/rename PDF files Acrobat Reader Help for iOS: Managing files and folders Link: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/rm/ios/acrobatios_en/manage_files.html#renamefile

You may also refer to Adobe Reader Help for iOS: Copying, editing, deleting, and other file and folder actions

Feel free to update this discussion for any further assistance.

Hi Michael

This worked for me on my iPad.  Assuming your have Adobe Reader open and can see your document on the screen.

1-  Click (tap)  on the tick box, top RHS corner of screen. This is a selector tool.

2-  Click (tap) in your doc. This will select it and put a tick next to it on the LHS.

3.  Down the bottom there now appears a toolbar.  Tap on the icon on that toolbar that looks like a square box with an I and two dots inside it.  This is the rename tool.

4.  Rename your doc by typing in the dialog box that will now appear.

5.  Click on RENAME at the bottom of dialog box.

Your document will now be renamed.

Hope this works for you.
