Hi,

I have a 200 page PDF on Acrobat on my iPad Air M2, and when I search for words in the document, it doesn't do anything. There are no results highlighted or anything at all. How can I fix this issue??

Hi @uri_2378

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Is this happening with just one specific PDF file, or are you noticing it with all your PDFs? If you haven’t already, could you try opening a different file to see if the problem persists?

Could you also let me know which version of the Acrobat Reader mobile app you’re using? To find out, you can tap on the profile icon, then go to “About Adobe Acrobat.” If you’re not on the latest version, try updating the app through the App Store (if you’re on iOS). A simple reboot of your device after updating might also help resolve the issue.

If you can, a short video showing the steps you’re taking and how the issue appears would be incredibly useful for us to better understand what’s going on.

Hi,

Thanks for responding. I'm using the newest Adobe (just downloaded from App
Store), and it seems to be only this PDF.

Some PDFs are made from apps with live text, such as Word, Excel, or InDesign. Others are made from scanned documents that are images and do not have live text so there are no words to search. It's likely that the document you have consists of images. Can you select text?
