Search results aren’t highlighted

With the latest version on my IPad when searching it doesn't highlight on the page anymore where it found the word I as searching for. On  a full page of text I now have to read from top to bottom to find the word. Is this a bug? It used to be that the search was highlighted each time on each page so that it was easy to see.

    Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the delay in response.

     

    The search function in Adobe Acrobat Reader for mobile still works in the same way. The text you search for is highlighted on the page.

    Please ensure that the application is updated to the latest version and you are opening a text PDF not a scanned/ image file.

    If you still experiencing issues with the search feature, share the following information:

    1. Application and OS version

    2. Share the screen capture of the issue occurring at your end.

    1. I am using iPad 6th generation
    2. Os version : iPadOS 14.2
    3. Adobe acrobat reader version : 20.10.00 (20201013.161436)
    4. Application name : Adobe acrobat reader
    5. I have been facing this problem since past couple of months , before
    that search feature worked fine.
    6. Following are the attached screenshots : I searched Bengal, software
    does bring me to that page where it finds “Bengal” is written but doesn’t
    highlight it, so I have to find the word on my own on that page. I have
    encircled the “Bengal” on those pages but software still doesn’t highlight
    them.

    Same problem on my iPad too.
