Setting Acrobat as default PDF viewer android

Question

When I click to open a pdf document in another app, instead of Adobe opening, random other apps appear in the selection screen after a quick flash image of the Acrobat landing page. I have done everything I know to do set Adobe Acrobat as my default PDF viewer on my android phone which is what I am using.

Anyone else ever had this happen and found a solution to fix it?

@kenwood_31  Wowza, you definitely have conflicting data! On your phone, I would clear the app's cache, clear the defaults, and reset the default app preferences, and you should be able to resolve this issue and get back to using Adobe Acrobat without any interruptions.
