Since I upgraded I can no longer open attachments in my email account on my mobile device

I upgraded to Pro on my Android device now I cannot open attachments in email I can download the attachment and open it but I can't open it in my email account anymore

    Thank you for reaching out, and we are sorry to hear this happened after your upgrade.

    Since you are able to open downloaded PDFs without issue, this suggests that your Android device is using the default app to open PDF attachments directly from your email. The upgrade may have reset this setting on your device.

     

    Please try the following:

    Go to your Android device Settings > Apps > Acrobat, tap Set as default, and confirm that Acrobat is set as the default app for opening PDF files.

    Alternatively, go to Settings > Apps, find your email app, tap Open by default, and clear the defaults there, then try opening a PDF attachment again. Your device will prompt you to choose which app to use; select Acrobat and tap Always.

    Please also share the following so we can assist further if the issue continues:

    • Your Android version

    • Your current Acrobat app version is under Profile > About Acrobat

    • Which email app are you using
