Smart pencil

Dear Adobe Inc. Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding the drawing feature in Acrobat for iPad, which may also affect other devices utilizing a smart pencil for drawing or writing purposes.

The problem arises after utilizing the erase tool and subsequently attempting to switch back to the draw tool. Despite having the setting enabled to exclusively draw with the smart pencil, the application still registers finger swipes as scribbles instead of recognizing the input from the smart pencil.

This issue significantly impacts the usability and functionality of the drawing feature, hindering the user experience and productivity.

I kindly request your prompt attention and resolution to this matter. Your assistance in addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this concern.

Sincerely,

Hi @NOWB,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for reporting this.

While I take this up with the team, would you mind sharing a few pieces of information for further investigation:

1. The app version of Acrobat Reader Mobile you use (go to Profile-> About Acrobat);

2. The iPadOS version of your device;

3. A screen recording of the event.

Look forward to hearing from you
