Question

Stop Acrobat from scanning my images and prompting me to turn them into PDF

The app only has access to my notifications. However, when I go into "All permissions" I see that it also has access to my camera whenever I use it and I suspect that that's how it gets access to my photos. I don't want Adobe to have access to the pictures I take but I don't seem to be able to find a way to turn this off without uninstalling

Hi @Alejo37732285fx4h,

Thank you for sharing your concern.

Since file access permission has been provided by you to Acrobat, we aim to enhance your experience by identifying potential document images and providing an easy way to convert them to PDFs.

You can disable these notifications by turning off the ‘Downloads’ channel in your app notification settings.

@Alejo37732285fx4h Acrobat has been granted access to your gallery, so you can use the Create PDF feature, add images from your device's gallery, and create a PDF.

You can revoke the permissions by going to your device's settings app.

However, doing so would require you to grant access every time you try to create a PDF from images on your phone.

Hope I was able to clarify your question.
