submit a form on acrobat mobile

hi all,

i am  having trouble using the default submit a form action on a button to send to a mailto:me@server.com address

i am not using any other javascript

i am on android tablets using the adobe acrobat reader app

this action did work fine for about 4 months up until this week, now the submit button just highlights itself and does nothing

clicking the submit button on desktop works fine, it is just not working on mobile. these forms are how my work does their paperwork and it is cruical that these forms are working - or i have a substitute mobile app that supports adobes fillable forms

i have searched on these forums but was unable to fix the issue. any help is appreciated
