Subscription can’t be restored

When attempting to use Adobe reader premium functions like combine .PDFs I get an error saying I need to subscribe. However when I go to subscribe it says that I'm already subscribed. When I close that windo it just says unknown error and shuts down. A bit useless, there's no workaround trying to cancel subscription and re start it either.

To use your subscription, you have to sign in with the same email, which was used to buy the subscription. Here is a help document to view your subscription.
