Question

Subscription no longer active even though I have a yearly subscription

I am using the adobe on my iPhone. When I attempt to do anything it is asking me to upgrade. But I checked my subscription on my Apple subscriptions and that verifies that my subscription is active through February 2027.

Experiencing the same issues.  I have a pro sub, logging into the app says “free account”.  If I use the links from the app that open web pages it then shows I have pro.  Started yesterday.  I worked with support this morning and their answer is that acrobat pro isn’t supported on mobile.

    Tried relogging/deleting cache/reinstalling app/etc.

Restore purchased doesn’t work because I’m using an adobe account not an Apple account.

Hi @Sunny_appreciator0f26, please try to restore purchases from inside the app. Go to Profile (or Account icon) > Subscriptions > Restore Purchases.

It works irrespective of the Store you have purchased the application.

Also, share the version of the Acrobat App and the OS you are using? And a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs for more clarity.

    Hi @Jubilant_grace8714 ,

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble, especially with a subscription you've already paid for through February 2027!

This is usually a case of the Acrobat app not "seeing" your active purchase from Apple, even though Apple's own records confirm it's valid. A few things to try, roughly in order of how likely they are to fix it:

    1. Confirm you're signed into the app with the correct Adobe ID. This subscription needs to be recognized against the same account/email you used when you originally subscribed. If you're signed in with a different Adobe ID (or not signed in at all), the app won't see it, even though Apple shows it as active.

    2. Restore purchases from inside the app. Go to Profile (or Account icon) > Subscriptions > Restore Purchases. This forces the app to re-check with Apple and re-sync your subscription status.

    3. If that doesn't work, clear the cache by offloading and reinstalling the app. Go to iPhone Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Adobe Acrobat, tap "Offload App," then reinstall it from the App Store. Sign back in and try Restore Purchases again.

    4. Double-check which Apple ID the subscription is actually tied to. Go to iPhone Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, and confirm the email address shown there for the Adobe/Acrobat subscription matches the Adobe ID you're signing into the app with.

Let us know how it goes.
