Sudden change to Read-Only on files I need to keep editing.

Question

I have an Ipad and a subscription to Adobe Premium. I edit PDF files for a living. I recently edited some PDF files then closed the files. When I returned to edit them later, they were locked as read-only.

What happened and how can I open them back up again.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the experience.

Would you mind sharing a few more pieces of information for further investigation:

1. The app version of Acrobat Reader Mobile (go to Profile-> about Acrobat);

2. The OS [Android/iOS] and its version;

3. A screenshot of the error you see;

4. A sample file where you were able to edit earlier but cannot do so now.
