'The google drive account could not be linked. Please try again.'

I have an android Samsung phone S21 Ultra unrooted. I have sync enabled for a google account on my S21 Ultra and so I'm trying to sync it with the free Acrobat Adobe app as I do sign in with that google account into Adobe so I go to 'save a copy' in the '3 dot icon' at the right of a PDF I have in Adobe and then choose the google account I want it to sync with when it arrives at the page saying 'Now you can access your google drive files. Connect your personal or business account." But when I then press the 'Add Account' button it says 'The google drive account could not be linked. Please try again.' without doing anything. I did enable all the persimission for both Adobe app and google drive app. Will Adobe suppport help me fix this? Because the words 'The google drive account could not be linked. Please try again.' don't have anything showing in google.
