The update doesn’t work correctly

Since the Adobe Reader  update, highlighting, underlining and other functions that need to detect the text from the documents don’t work anymore. It’s as if the app didn’t recognize the text of the pdf documents. How can this be solved?

Sorry, I couldn't select the text yesterday but I've just realised that with the update the way to select text is slightly different from the previous version as you have to touch for some seconds for the text to be selected. Thank you for the help.

Please also share your version number and the Operation System that you are using Adobe Reader on.
