Turn off the stupid cloud

I do not want my documents saved to adobe cloud. I am using an iPad and for whatever reason, it automatically saves to the cloud, doesn't give me th option to save to my iPad. I've searched the settings/adobe, profile, etc. - and there seems to be no button to turn off the stupid cloud I didn't ask for! Any ideas before I throw the entire subscription away and jump?
