Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Exporting Files on Acrobat.

 

Once exported, the file is saved to Acrobat's Cloud Storage, which could be why MS Word is unable to access it.

 

Can you try the steps below:

Once exported, go to Acrobat's Recent List Screen, click the three dots to the right of the file name, click "Save a Local Copy," > select the location, and confirm the save. 

 

Once saved, try opening the file again through Acrobat. This time, the location would have a phone icon at the bottom of the file name. 

It should now open normally.
