Unable to convert a file to pdf

Hi Guys,

I get an error when I try to use the TouchUp Text tool in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, on any PDF file. The error I receive is: "All or part of the selection has no available system font. You cannot add or delete text using the currently selected font." I am trying to convert a file to pdf thru google chrome.

Already tried troubleshooting steps

-tried to create a new pdf using a different file (notepad, word doc) and all were successful with no errors

-checked system fonts if the font he is trying to use (Open Sans) is installed in the system - (Installed)

-tried a different invoice and converted it it PDF - same error message "All or part of the selection has no available system font. You cannot add or delete text using the currently selected font"

-checked Adobe settings - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/error-no-availa... to see if the font is there - font is present

-repaired Adobe Acrobat

But nothing happened still getting the same error.

Any help on how to resolve this will be appreciated.
